Number Of Coronavirus Cases In Onondaga Nearing 200

Syracuse, N.Y. - The coronavirus is continuing to spread in Onondaga County as the number of confirmed cases nears 200.

County Executive Ryan McMahon says 194 people have contracted the disease and seven of those individuals are in critical condition. The highest number of cases has been reported in Syracuse, Clay and Cicero. Five people have made full recoveries from COVID-19 and have been released from a mandatory quarantine.

Officials are still urging residents to stay home if they're sick and to avoid large gatherings.
