Albany, N.Y. - The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in New York State has crossed 15,000, but some help is on the way from the federal government.
President Trump announced yesterday much needed medical supplies are heading to the Empire State. Trump has also approved a request to declare New York a major disaster area, making it easier for the state to receive more help with recovery efforts.
New York currently has the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.
