Albany, N.Y. - While coronavirus cases continue to grow, there's a bit of good news on the spread of the flu statewide.
The Department of Health says there were 8,400 confirmed flu cases during the week ending February 29th. That's a 20-percent drop from the week before. The number of people hospitalized due to the flu was also down 17-percent.
Doctors are still urging folks to practice good hygiene since flu season typically doesn't end until May.
