Syracuse University Lifts Students Suspension

Syracuse, N.Y. - Suspensions for a group of Syracuse University students protesting on campus have been lifted.

The protests started again Monday evening at Crouse-Hinds Hall and included members of the #NotAgainSU movement.

The movement came about after a series of racial incidents and racist graffiti was found on the campus last semester

The interim suspensions were issued after students refused to leave a sit-in protest at Crouse-Hinds Hall and move to the Bird Library on Monday.

According to a spokesperson Chancellor Kent Syverud lifted the suspensions Wednesday and made the announcement during a faculty senate meeting.
