Pulaski, N.Y. - Officials say a man cooking goat meat in his room is responsible for starting a motel fire in Oswego County.
Crews were called to battle the flames at the Red Carpet Inn on State Route 13 in Pulaski yesterday. Everyone was able to make it out safely. One of the motel buildings was seriously damaged and will be closed for repairs. Those displaced were given new rooms.
No injuries were reported.
