Syracuse, N.Y. - Former Congresswoman Claudia Tenney has picked up a major endorsement as she looks to return to Capitol Hill.
President Trump sent out a message of support yesterday for the ex-22nd Congressional District representative, saying she is strong on crime, borders and cutting taxes.
Tenney is being challenged by fellow Republicans George Phillips and Franklin Sager. She was narrowly defeated by Democratic Congressman Anthony Brindisi in 2018.
The 22nd District covers all of Madison, Oneida, Chenango and Cortland counties and sections of Oswego, Broome, Herkimer and Tioga counties.
