Ava, N.Y. - Oneida County deputies say speed likely wasn't a factor in a weekend snowmobile accident.
33-year-old James Moroney was riding on a trail in Ava yesterday when he got caught on an edge and thrown from the snowmobile. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for several injuries.
The investigation into the crash continues.
