Rome, N.Y. - State Police have made an arrest in another auto stripping case.
21 year old Colton Shaffer, of Rome, has been accused of stealing catalytic converters off people's cars and selling them for scrap. Troopers say he partnered with Richard Tennant Jr., who they arrested earlier this month.
Shaffer faces an additional charge, of Burglary 3rddegree , after stealing a catalytic converter from cars in a barn outside of Rome.
Shaffer was arraigned in the Oneida County Centralized Arraignment Court and is in the Oneida County Jail on $5000 bail.
