Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police say a former High School football player was shot to death Tuesday night.
Officers say that 18 year old Ezequiel Ruiz, of Syracuse was dead when they found him. The shooting happened around 11 on South Salina Street near the West Park Apartments.
Ruiz graduated from the Syracuse Institute of Technology high school in June 2019.
He was named to the all-league second team in the Class B West division in his senior season at ITC.
Officers say that they have no suspects at this time.
