Syracuse, N.Y. - The New York State Fair would be extended by five days thanks to an additional $4.9 million proposed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo as part of his budget proposal.
Cuomo made the announcement while outlining his budget proposal during his Fiscal Year 2021 Budget Address on Tuesday afternoon.
The Fair would be extended to 18 days long if approved.
The Fair would include additional weekend and new programming, including a motor show in the Expo Center and sensory friendly days, according to the budget proposal.
