Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police say reports of abductions at Destiny USA are false.
Officials say posts have been circulating since Monday when someone told mall security a woman on a phone asked several people to help her with a car problem. Once security arrived, the woman left the area. Another woman then created a post saying sex trafficking in Syracuse was real and she experienced it firsthand, while someone else claimed there'd been five abductions at the mall in recent weeks.
Police say there's no evidence anything like that has happened.
