Victory, N.Y. - Cayuga County investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a deadly fire.
Officials say it happened Friday at a residence on Stahlnecker Road in Victory. The victim, 70-year-old John Lalik, wasn't able to get out of the home. His wife, 69-year-old Jacqueline Lalik, was taken to a Syracuse hospital and is in fair condition.
It took several fire departments to get the flames under control.
