Baldwinsville, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff's Office investigating a fatal accident that occurred this morning in the Village of Baldwinsville.
Around 7am, emergency crews responded to Aspen Springs Drive near the intersection of White Chapel Road. A garbage truck operated by Syracuse Haulers was backing down Aspen Drive when it struck a man in his 40's who was crossing the road. He suffered severe injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and the names of the driver and the victim have not been released.
