Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriffs are investigating the death of a woman at a home in Salina.
Sheriff's Deputies and Liverpool Fire Department responded to a home on Midwood Drive around 1 p.m. today.
A man who is a caretaker of the home was asked to come over by the homeowner. When the caretaker arrived he found a woman dead and called 911.
Sheriff's say there is evidence of fire but has not determined the cause of death, or whether any foul play was involved.
They believe at this point the woman is a resident of the home, but have not confirmed her identity.
