National Grid's Head In The U.S. Steps Down

Waltham, MA - The head of National Grid in the U.S. has stepped down:

The energy company says they have agreed to part ways with U.S. Executive Director Dean Seavers. He will remain therough the end of the year but someone else has been named to do his job on an interim basis.

National Grid has been under mounting pressure from Governor Cuomo for mishandling natural gas hookups in New York City. There is also controvery surround a pipeline project on Long Island.. . . He has even threatened to kick the utility out f the Sate.

The company is also dealing with issues in Massachusetts.
