Drivers are handing over more of their hard-earned money at the gas pumps.
According to AAA, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Central New York is $2.60. That's up three cents from last week, but is two cents cheaper than this time a month ago.
The state average is sitting at $2.69, while nationally it's $2.60.
