Liverpool, N.Y. - You'll have to drive a little slower on the Onondaga Lake Parkway as of this morning.
The speed limit on the Parkway has been reduced from 55 miles an hour to 45 miles an hour. The DOT makes this change every November 1st to adjust for potential high winds off Onondaga Lake that can create some dangerous blowing snow. The reduced speed limit will stay in force until April 1st.
The speed limit going into and coming out of the village of Liverpool stays the same at 30 miles an hour.
