Syracuse, N.Y. - The man who set up the plan that wound up killing a 12 year old was sentenced today. In a plea deal Alberto Pinet, will spend 12 years in prison.
Pinet pleaded guilty to illegal weapon possession. He admitted that he along with two others laid plans to enact revenge on someone. Instead young James Springer III was shot and killed.
Pinet didnt go quietly however, firing his lawyer and accusing him of pressuring Pinet into pleading, and misconduct. He even had the lawyer take the stand to defend himself before Pinet was finally taken away in handcuffs
