Town of Mexico, N.Y. - An Amish woman who was thrown from her buggy last week after being hit by a car has now died. Anna Miller was riding on a buggy when it was struck.
State Police say the accident occured on Route 3 in the Town of Mexico.
William Twombly was driving his vhicle when he struck the buggy from behind causing the two occupants Anna and Andy Miller, to be thrown from the buggy. Twombly’s car then struck a large rock retaining wall and a power pole.
Two horses were also severely injured and were euthanized per the owner's request.
