Syracuse, N.Y. - A southside standoff in Syracuse where officers say a man may have been shooting at them ended overnight.
Police say that a man fired shots around 6:15 p.m. on South Salina Street, near Dunk and Bright. Officers say he may have been shooting at them.
Authorities say the man in question ran down Warner Avenue towards Webster Avenue, and into a house. Police and SWAT surrounded the house they believed he was hiding out in.
When officers eventually went inside they found the house empty. Nobody was hurt.
