Cicero, N.Y. - Aerial spraying of disease ridden mosquitoes is scheduled, again.
Crews will spraying the bugs in the Cicero Swamp area tonight. Previous attempts to spray have been delayed because of weather and the Holiday. Rain is in the forcast for this evening.
Mosquitoes infected with Eastern equine encephalitis and West Nile virus were recently found at a trap located on Route 298 in the swamp.
Spraying is set to start at 6:00 p.m.
People and pets near the swamp should stay inside and shut their windows and doors. Residents are being urged to make sure things like children's toys and outdoor furniture are brought inside.
