Syracuse, N.Y. - A Syracuse man is being named after leading State Police on a wild chase with a stole box-truck.
Troopers say they tried to pull over a U-Haul truck driven by 22-year-old Tyshawn Allen Sunday night. Allen refused to stop and ended up going onto 81 and leading officers on a chase that went through Onondaga County before finally ending in Cortland County -- after Allen drove over a spike strip.
Allen is behind bars at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Onondaga County's Air-1 helicopter also helped in the chase.
