State Fair Day 4: Go For The Hot Dogs, Leave With A Friend

Geddes, N.Y. - The Great New York State Fair continues, in earnest, following a big first Friday.

Today, there will be local animal shelters bringing dozens of dogs and cats to the Expo Center looking for their 'furever' home.

The Fair's roots are in agriculture. They'll be acknowledging all that 4-H and FFA do for New York's Youth.

An elected lawmaker from Syracuse will be on the Chevy Court Concert stage. Syracuse Common Councilor Joe Dricoll's hip-hop skill will be on display along the CNY's Brownskin Band at 2:00 p.m. Rising rap star Smokepurpp will take the stage at 8:00 p.m.

On the west end, there'll be four acts performing through the afternoon and evening at the New York experience Stage.
