Spraying Concludes For Now Around Toad Harbor Swamp

Aerial spraying was finally able to happen around the Toad Harbor Swamp, which included parts of Hastings, West Monroe and Constantia.

Oswego County Health officials report that two horses have died from being infected with Triple E. No humans have been infected.

Samples taken so far have not yielded West Nile Virus.

Onondaga County Dealing With Triple E And West Nile

Onondaga County has announced they too have a mosquito problem. Mosquitoes from a trap located on Route 298 in the Cicero Swamp area in the town of Cicero have tested positive for both Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus, and West Nile virus.
