Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police say they are closing their investigation into a streetrace on Erie Boulevard that killed two.
Officers say they are giving up the search for a second vehicle they had been looking for. The fiery June 15th crash killed 22-year-old Tawakal Rashid and 14-year-old Musbah Hassan. Police say the two were in the same car going around 100 miles per hour at the time of the crash.
Investigators say they would reopen the investigation if they received more information.
