I-81 Will Reopen Around 10:00 a.m.

Syracuse, N.Y. - I-81 will be closed between between Tully and LaFayette until 10:00 a.m.

The full lane closure between exits 14 and 15 is impacting northbound and southbound travelers. Drivers are being detoured along Route 11, where a rollover accident is slowing down the commute even more.

State Police say they are investigating an incident where a person was found unconscious in their vehicle.Police believe the person was trying to take their own life.

Rollover Accident North Of Tully Added To Traffic Delays

Crash on Route 11 is making an already bad traffic situation worse for commuters coming into Syracuse from the South. I-81 in both directions between LaFayette and Tully is still closed.
