Manlius, N.Y. - A two-vehicle drunk driving crash shut out the lights to several thousand people last night.
Manlius Police say the crash happened around 8:10 p.m. along Peck Hill Road. Investigators say two vehicles slammed into each other head-on. One of the drivers has been charged with DWI. Their identity has not yet been released. Remarkably nobody was hurt.
At its height, around 855 National Grid customers were without power.
