Syracuse, N.Y. - The funeral for the man who died after being hit by an SUV driven by Coach Jim Boeheim is set for Thursday
A. DeWitt Memorial Funeral Home is donating their services to the family of Jorge Jimenez Owner Jan Maloff said it will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday. It will be open to the public.
Jimenez died after a crash late last Wednesday night when a car he was in struck a guardrail and wound up in the middle of 690. As Jimenez and the other passengers were walking away, Boeheim swerved to miss the car and struck Jimenenz killing him.
A Go Fund page has already raised $13,000 for the family.
No charges are anticipated in regards to the accident.
