Syracuse, N.Y. - Duke got their revenge beating SU at home Saturday night 75-65 in front of a record crowd.

It was Coach Boeheim’s first game since being involved in tragic highway crash Wednesday night.

Syracuse Police say that Boeheim hit a 51-year-old man that was on the side of the road trying to avoid a disabled vehicle in the middle of a highway.

Duke’s offense was able to penetrate ‘Cuse’s zone defense late in the second half. R.J. Barret and Alex O'Connell combined for 50 combined points for the Blue Devils. Blue-Devil star Zion Williamson sat out the game nursing a minor knee sprain following a bizarre shoe malfunction.

Tyus Battle, Elijah Hughes, Frank Howard and Marek Dolezaj all scored in double figures for the Orange.

The game was played in front of a record setting crowd. 35,542 fans packed into the Carrier Dome.

It was the second match-up of the season between the ACC Foes. Back in January, the Orange traveled to Cameron Indoor where they beat Duke in Overtime 95 to 91.

For SU they continue their tough stretch. They take on No. 8 UNC Tuesday night.
