Passenger Injured In Van Buren Snowmobile Crash

A Van Buren snowmobile crash Saturday morning sent a woman to the hospital with multiple injuries.

The crash on the Seneca Knolls golf course happend just before noon according to Onondaga County sheriff's deputies. Deputies tell us that the driver was speeding when the sled hit a bump and became airborne. Both the driver and passenger were ejected. Neither were wearing helmets. The passenger had facial cuts as well as hip and back injuries, and is being treated at the hospital. The driver was unhurt. He was cited for imprudent speed and both were ticketed for not wearing a helmet.
