No Charges Filed In Mexico Crash That Killed 9-Year-Old

Mexico, N.Y. - No charges will be filed in connection with a crash that killed a nine-year-old girl.

A Child Is Killed In Two Vehicle Crash in Town Of Mexico

A child is dead after a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Mexico. Oswego County Sheriff Deputies say it happened Sunday just after noon. Investigators say that a tractor-trailer traveling on 104 hit a sedan at the intersection of Route 11. The crash killed 9-year-old Cara Snyder of Lacona.

Cara Snyder died Sunday following the accident at the intersection of U-S Route 11 and State Route 104 in Mexico.

Investigators say Snyder's aunt ran a red light and hit a tractor-trailer. The driver of that vehicle wasn't hurt.
