Rome Police Looking For Public's Help In Shooting Incident

Rome, N.Y. -  The Rome Police are asking for the public’s help regarding to a shooting Tuesday around 5 :30. 

Police responded to FasTrac gas station, on 600 Erie Blvd. West in the City of Rome, for a report of shots fired. 

All the people involved had fled by the time police arrived. After checking surveillance video and speaking with witnesses, it was determined that an altercation had erupted and several shots were fired.

Rome Police are currently looking for information in regards to a gold colored Saturn, four door sedan, seen fleeing the scene. Police are also seeking information in regards to another vehicle, a grey or blue four door sedan, which is believed to also be involved in the incident.

Police are asking that anyone that may have been present at the FasTrac at that time of this incident, or anyone with any information related to this incident, please contact the Rome Police Detective Division at 315-339-7717.
