A judge is allowing the National Rifle Association to go forward with a lawsuit against Governor Cuomo.
According to the New York Law Journal, a federal judge has ruled that the NRA's case can be heard at trial. The NRA claims Cuomo and Department of Financial Services Superintendent Maria Vullo violated the NRA's First Amendment rights.
The NRA sued earlier this year, saying Cuomo and Vullo tried to affect the group through official state actions.
Vullo urged banks and insurance companies to evaluate the risks of doing business with the NRA.
