Canastota, N.Y. - Dutchland Plastics is opening a new facility in Canastota.
The company, which produces gas tanks and fenders, is also located in Sherrill. 23 employees from the company's Sherrill plant will also be moved to the facility.
Officials say that they expect to create 40 new jobs at the 50,00 square foot factory located along the Erie Canal.
