Syracuse Woman Cuts Her Boyfriend With A Box Cutter

Syracuse, N.Y. - Wednesday morning around 2:30 Syracuse Police responded to the 200 block of Westmoreland Ave regarding a domestic incident with injuries.

When police arrived they they spoke with 32 year old Linda McCoy, of Syracuse who said she was involved in a fight with her boyfriend Tanique Brown, also of Syracuse. McCoy reported that Brown had choked her and then slapped her daughter.

Upon further investigation, officers located Brown,  and noticed he was suffering from a large laceration to his leg. Brown told police McCoy, had cut him with a box cutter. 

Brown was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. 

 McCoy was arrested and charged with Assault, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

Brown was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Mischief, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
