Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse businessman who drowned his wife more than two decades ago is out of prison.
Walid Daniel was released from a facility in the Catskills after spending 26 years behind bars. Daniel killed his wife at their home on Old Liverpool Road back in 1991. He was convicted the following year.
A state parole board granted Daniel's release back in May. He was released from the Woodbourne Correctional Facility on Wednesday.
