Syracuse, N.Y. - Tuesday September 4th, Syracuse Police responded to Kirkpatrick Street around 3am for a person down call.
They found a man suffering from a gun shot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
Police now say the man died from a self inflicted gun shot wound.
The gun was found near the 30 year old male.
The victim was from New York City but had acquaintances here in Syracuse.
