Phish Cancels Weekend Performance At Watkins Glen International

Watkins Glen, N.Y. - Rock group Phish has canceled its weekend Curveball concert at Watkins Glen International.

The band says severe flooding earlier this week in the region would make it unsafe for people to travel to and stay at the facility. Among the biggest concerns was getting clean drinking water to people and vendors.

Lodi Point State Park Remains Closed

New York State parks have closed Lodi Point State Park due to prolonged flooding impacts and emergency response operations. The park will be closed until further notice.

Roughly 85,000 people were expected to attend the three-day event.

Ticket holders will be contacted by event organizers about getting a refund.
