Police are investigating a fire that hit an abandoned commercial building in East Syracuse Monday night.
According to town of Dewitt police, they responded to a report of a fire on Carr Street around 3:15 pm Monday. When first responders arrived, they found the building fully involved. East Syracuse firefighters were assisted at the scene with multiple area fire departments and EMT's. Luckily, no one was hurt in the fire. Police say the incident is still ongoing and hope anyone with information will contact Dewitt police.
