UPDATE: Onondaga County Sheriff's Deputies name man killed in crash.
Manlius, N.Y. - A motorcyclist died in a crash with an SUV last night in Manlius.
Around 7:18 an Onondaga Sheriff came upon the crash just as it happened on Cazenovia Road and found the cyclist unconscious and unresponsive.
The Deputy and other motorists stopped and rendered aid to the victim until medical personnel arrived. The motorcyclist, a man in his 60’s, was transported to Upstate University Hospital where he later died.
Witnesses say the motorcyclist was traveling south on Cazenovia Road, passing several vehicles, before nearing an intersection of Oran Delhi Road, where an SUV had just made a left turn onto Cazenovia Road. The biker hit the SUV traveling in the northbound lane.
The victims name has not been released.
