Due to a water main break at the intersection of South Salina and Washington Streets, both lanes of South Salina Street will be closed from Washington Street to Water Street.
The westbound lane of Washington Street will be closed from Warren to South Clinton Streets.
These roads will remain closed until further notice. Traffic is being rerouted.
The westbound crosswalk of South Salina and Washington Streets will also be closed to pedestrian traffic until further notice.
Syracuse City Water Department responded to the break around 1 p.m. today.
Crews are trying to determine what needs to be done and how in addition to notifying businesses and residents and businesses.
