The Syracuse Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at the AmeriCU Credit Union, 200 Walton St. around 2:40 this afternoon. A male suspect entered the credit union, walked up to a teller, and verbally demanded money. He then left on foot. The suspect is described as a black male in his late twenties or early thirties, approximately 5’6” tall, 170 lbs, and was last seen wearing a white and black baseball style hat with ‘Chicago’ in red letters, a black t-shirt with a design across the front, and black wind pants with white stripes on the knees.
