The partially decomposed human remains that were discovered on Horse Island in the Village of Sackets Harbor have been identified,following a forensic examination by the medical examiner’s office according to Jefferson County Sheriff office.
Sheriffs say family members in New Jersey have been notified.
The cause of death has been ruled a suicide and there are no criminal aspects to the investigation.
Sheriffs say no further information will be released.
