Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of body.
The partially decomposed human remains were found on Horse Island in the Village of Sackets Harbor by a State Park employee. The clothed remains of an adult were found in a wooded area around 11:30. A forensic examination is scheduled to identify the person and the cause of death.
