It's been a hot week in Central New York
It was the 4th hottest Independence Day in Syracuse! Wednesday's high reached 93 degrees in the city. Kirk Park and Schiller Park Pools were both closed for maintenance. Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville reached capacity and had to close, turning away hundreds trying to cool off in the lake.
Heat advisories are in effect again today for parts of Central New York, including Cayuga, Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego and Wayne Counties. We should see more seasonal temps in the 70's by the weekend.
