The search is over for the person responsible for setting a string of fires in the town of Salina.
Onondaga County sheriff's deputies say Thomas Cerio has been charged with third degree arson and second degree mischief. Investigators say they believe Cerio was the person who set four different fires in just over a month, including a fire at Syracuse Indoor Sports Center on May 28. The other three fires were set within hours of one another between Sunday night and Monday morning, all in the general vicinity of the first fire. A resident recognized Cerio from surveillance photos.
