Port Byron Couple Who Faked Son's Cancer, Plead Not Guilty

Port Byron, N.Y. - A couple accused of faking their son's cancer diagnosis for donations are facing up to five years in prison if they're found guilty. 

The duo pleaded not guilty on multiple charges for taking donations on GoFundMe under false claims their ten-year-old son had cancer.  Martin and Jolene LaFrance were released without bail and are scheduled to return to court June 27th.

A couple in Port Byron are accused of faking their son’s cancer diagnosis and ripping people off with a GoFundMe page.

GoFundMe says it is refunding those that donated to the LaFrance Family.
