A state appellate judge has ordered the bail of a man accused of driving drunk and killing 3 OCC students lowered.
30 year old Anthony Saccone of Camillus is accused of speeding up to 80 mph through a red light near Onondaga Community College's campus and crashing into another car, killing three people. Saccone's new bail is $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond.
He will also be required to surrender a passport if he has one. Prosecutor Chris Bednarski said his office "vigorously opposed" the lower bail. DA William Fitzpatrick had submitted a statement to the appellate court, as well, arguing against lowering the bail.
