Albany, N.Y. - With more than four-months to go before the primaries, Governor Andrew Cuomo holds a large lead over Cynthia Nixon.
According to the latest poll from Quinnipiac University, Cuomo holds a 50 to 28-percent lead over Nixon. The poll also shows Cuomo with more than a 30-point lead if he was in a two-way race with Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro in the General Election.
If Nixon entered the General Election race as a Working Families Party candidate, the poll shows she would take away some votes from Cuomo, but he would still hold a 17-point lead over Molinaro.
