A Syracuse man has been charged with animal cruelty after stabbing a dog.
35 year old Johnathan Ingram was charged with stabbing his girlfriends 11 year old rottweiler in the chest during an argument about money.
The dog was rushed to nearby Veterinarian Hospital where it is expected to survive.
Ingram was arrested after he fled the scene and taken to the Justice Center, were he was released on bail.
